New Year's Day!!
My favorite holiday is "New Year's Day". We usually celebrate it on January 1st in Japan. We eat special foods at New Year's Day. My father really likes eating a rice cake this time. Do you know "rice cake"? We eat it not only New Year's Day. But we eat it with soup at New Year's Day. We have other thing to do. When I was a child, I got some money from my family every year, but now I'm not child, so I have to give some money to children. I'm getting dislike this holiday.HAHAHA!! This picture's cloth is KIMONO, but I've never worn this one at New Year's Day. Almost Japanese people don't wear KIMONO usually.

New year's holiday has the splendid times.
I was in Tokyo once for New Year's Day - we saw fireworks at Tokyo Tower and saw the Royal Family at their palace the next day. It was a really interesting experience!
ReplyDeleteCorrections: "My father really likes eating rice cakes at this time." "I'm starting to dislike this holiday."
